Following recent coverage on The Joe Finnegan Show in relation to HSE waiting lists, today Joe heard about a good news story when it comes to cataracts procedures. There is a charity helping Irish citizens to access the treatment they need for cataracts in a Holland clinic under the Cross Border Directive. It's called Irish Eyes Ireland and Janice from Athlone told us about her experience saying despite her initial impression, she found that the service that this charity offers isn't too good to be true.
An information and awareness meeting is being held in the Shamrock Lodge Hotel, Athlone next Thursday night, Nov 1st at 8pm. You can also find out more on IrishEyesIreland.ie
