It's fair to say that reported comments by the Agriculture Minister have angered many farmers.
In an interview with the Irish Examiner, Michael Creed said ''there were very few farm holdings that could not provide some level of afforestation''.
Speaking on today's Joe Finnegan Show Mona O' Dononhue Concannon who is a spokesperson for women west in farming said that in her opinion he had ''lost the plot''
She also said that many farm families were struggling financially and the Government needed to do more to help support them.
