Podcast: A look back on Flight of the Doves

Hollywood came to the Shannonside Northern Sound region in April 1971.

Based on a novel by  Walter Macken, Flight of the Doves th tells the story of  Finn and Derval Dove, two Liverpool-Irish orphans, as they flee their evil Uncle “Hawk” Dove and their travels takes them to the Emerald Isle and Shannonbridge, Athlone, Ballinasloe, indeed right across the west of Ireland and once again listen to this for a line -up
