Longford poet Valerie Masterson is fed up of hearing Longford taking abuse over and over again in national polls and she says the one released last Friday listing residents of the county as having the second worst accent in the country was "the final straw". It drove her to get out and about to take some stunning photographs to show off the beautiful county which never gets promoted, as well as writing up a strongly worded blog post on the matter.
