Dave was in Sligo University Hospital for a hernia operation last Wednesday, or so he thought until the operation was cancelled at the very last minute - when he had been hooked up to the drip and was about to be wheeled in. He spoke to Joe this morning and said, unfortunately, his is not an isolated incident.
