A hearing of the Joint Oireachtas Committee on Children hearing this week heard that research among parent groups at primary level has suggested that the weight of schoolbags if one of their biggest concerns. Joanne is soon to be a mother of three secondary school students and she says iPads have done nothing to lighten the load of her children’s schoolbags.
