A Cavan-Monaghan TD has denied claims Sinn Féin ran a 'kangaroo court' in the case of Brian Stanley.
Laois-Offaly TD Brian Stanley resigned from the party over the weekend, claiming he's been unfairly treated during an internal enquiry.
Sinn Féin TD for Cavan Monaghan, Matt Carthy, who's a senior member of the party, says he is not aware of any of the details of the complaint or the findings of a preliminary report.
