Darragh Greene nomination for the postponed Tokyo Olympic Games were confirmed during the week with Greene admitting it was a weight off his shoulders.
Greene qualified for the 2020 Olympic Games in 2019, but due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Greene needed to swim a B standard qualifying time in 20201.
However Swim Ireland updated their policies, allowing Greene and Shane Ryan qualification for the planned summer Olympic Games
