Longford Town booked their place in the promotion final of the League of Ireland First Division thanks to a 3-2 win away to UCD after extra time last Saturday.
The sides were deadlocked at 2 all and penalties looked to be on the cards before Dean Byrne scored a stunning goal to win it for Town.
Daire Doyle’s side now face Galway United in the final.
