Longford Town fell to hammer blow 6-2 defeat at home to Galway United on Saturday night in the SSE Airtricty League first division.
Town led two-nil after 33 minutes thanks to goals from Rob Manley with Adam Evans making it two on 32 minutes. Marc Ludden pulled one back a minute before half-time with Galway finding the net on five occasions in the second-half.
