Longford Town’s hope of a second placed finish all but disappeared after Saturday night’s 2-1 defeat to Bray Wanderers in City Calling Stadium.
Town finished with nine men as Anto Breslin and Karl Chambers saw red Dean Byrne had given Town the lead after nine minutes.
Bray’s John Martin equalised in first half injury time with Dean Williams penalty with two minutes remaining meaning Town are three points behind Drogheda with one game remaining but have a worse goal difference.
On the Longford Town review Dave Hooper speaks to our reporter at City Calling Stadium Deniese O’Flaherty and we hear from Town manager Daire Doyle and Bray boss Gary Cronin.
