Leona Maguire had planned on a dramatic summer on the LPGA tour and an Olympic Games, but the coronavirus pandemic has put paid to a 2020 Olympics.
Three of the Major championship have now been rescheduled the French Open has been moved to the date orginally set for the Olympic Games, and the A&A for September.
While the US Open has been moved from June to December 10-13.
“The LPGA is a very global, we’re supposed to be in 23 countries this year, I Don’t expect us to get to anywere close to that”explained Maguire
“But I know the LPGA is reschedule event rather than have them cancelled, hopefully we will have some events.”
Maguire is now back home in Cavan with her family, practicing daily outside and she spoke to Dave Hooper.
Dave started by asking her how she was coping with the changes to her schedule.
