On Saturday last Mayo and Roscommon clashed in round three of the Allianz Football league. The game resulted in a 1-19 to 0-14 victory for Mayo.
After the opening three rounds Mayo have registered wins over Kerry and Roscommon while they suffered a defeat in their opening match against Monaghan.
Unfortunately for Roscommon the search continues for much coveted league points. Kevin McStay’s side were competitive against both Tyrone and Donegal in their opening two matches and in fairness were unlucky not have secured at least a draw with Donegal.
