Ballinamore Athletic Club catalogue their history on Monday, August 14, in a book called "Maroon Above the Green" written by club founder Padraig Griffin.
The club has also had two Olympians in Colin Griffin and Eddie Leddy. The book was launched last Monday and ahead of the launch Author Padraig Griffin discussed the book which also details the development of athlethics in the club,county and country with Tony Ghee on Shannonside FM.
