Many tributes have been paid to legendary figure of Roscommon GAA- Seán Young after he passed away on Sunday.
Seán Young was originally from Derry but travelled around the country as a bank official (including working in Ballinamore in Leitrim) and contributed greatly to the GAA world.
In 1972, He settled in Boyle to take up his position with Northern Bank before retiring from there in 1997. The Derry man was an innovative coach that managed Roscommon twice. Once in the 1970's and then again in the 1980's.
The Well-Respected coach contributed greatly to Boyle and Roscommon GAA and is also a legend of Ardagh GAA in Longford for coaching them to a county title in 1987.
Roscommon GAA historian Tony Conboy spoke to Shannonside Northern Sound's Kevin McDermott about the life and legacy of Sean Young.
