Longford Town bounced back from their 3-0 defeat to St Patrick's Athletic to take a point from FAI holders Dundalk on the May bank holiday Monday.
Dylan Grimes and Rob Manley had given town a 2-0 lead by the 14th minute but Dundalk battled back to make it three games unbeaten.
Junior getting Dundalk back in the game in the 20th minute before Chris Sheilds equalised eight minutes from time.
