Abbeylara get the better of Dromard in table topping clash

Abbeylara moved top of the Peter Hanley Motors longford SFC group B table after a 13 points to 12 win over Dromard.

The sides were level seven point’s a-piece at half-time with Abbeylara leading 10 points to nine with 15 minutes remaining.

However, Frankie Dolan’s side trailed 12 points to 11 with eight minutes remaining. Two late points where enough to secure a second championship win for Abbeylara.

Meanwhile, Mullinalaghta got the better of Clonguish on Saturday night. Whereas, Longford Slashers and Carrickedmond played out a draw on Friday night.
