An international field for the Longford marathon

Last Sunday’s Longford Marathon saw record numbers take to the streets of the county, town and surrounding areas.

Competitors competed in a number of disciplines including distances of 5km half-marathon, full marathon and Ultra-marathon.

Speaking on Sportsbeat, Longford marathon chairperson John Sheehan; noted they had a large number of runners from around the world competing.
