Antrim scored a surprise 1-21 to 22 points win over Clare in their Division One B Allianz National Hurling League opener at Corrigan Park this afternoon.

Elsewhere, Wexford hammered Laois 4-17 to 10 points at Chadwicks Wexford Park and Cork enjoyed an impressive 5-22 to 1-27 win over Waterford at Páirc Uí Chaoimh in division 1B.
In division 2A Kerry came back to hammer Down 4-18 to 19 points in Austin Stack Park, Offaly survived a scare to see off Meath 3-25 to 3-9 in Páirc Tailteann and Carlow beat Wicklow 3-19 to 17 points.
In division 2B Donegal fought back with an injury time goal and two points to beat Roscommon 1-13 to 1-11 in Letterkenny and Mayo edged Derry by two points in Elverys MacHale Park, wining out 0-21 to 1-16.
