Athlone Town goalkeeper Katie Keane insists the WFAI Cup holds a special place in her heart.
"It is not so much pressure but pride to try keep that title” explained Keane ahead of their WFAI Cup semi-final with Sligo Rovers.
“It's something that we really look forward to" added Keane as the defending champions face Sligo on Sunday. A return to the cup final up for grabs.
Indeed, Cork City midfielder Orlaith O'Mahony believes her team have a fighting chance in their semi-final with Shelbourne.
“Shels away in Tolka Park is always a tough place to go to” declared O’Mahony. “But we love a challenge and these games, as players, we want to play in" said O'Mahony, who scored in the quarter-final win over Bohemians.
