Athlone Town through to FAI Cup semi finals

Athlone Town reached the semi-finals of the FAI Cup following a 4-1 victory at home to Shelbourne.

Dean George scored a hat-trick while Scott Delaney was also on target for the hosts.

Ciaran Kilduff scored Shelbourne’s only goal of the game.

Athlone Town now await the winners of Bohemians versus Dundalk in the last four.
