Aughnasheelin claimed their first win of the Connacht Gold Leitrim senior championship with a one win over Gortletteragh on Friday night.
Aughnasheelin led four points to five at half-time. Gortletteragh found the net twice in the second-half to lead the side’s level 2-4 to 0-10 with eight minutes to play.
However, Aughnasheelin found the net with six minutes remaining and went onto to win 1-10 to 2-6.
Elsewhere Mohill top the Leitrim senior championship as they played out a 2-7 a-piece draw with Fenagh St Cailins.
Fenagh led 1-3 to 1-4 at half-time Mohill landing their second goal with 48 minutes on the clock. However Fenagh came back to claim a 2-7 apiece draw.
