Boyle powered in the Hudson Bay Hotel Roscommon SFC semi-final as they crushed Clann na nGael 1-11 to 2-4.
Clann led 1-4 to three points at half-time, having played with a strong first-half breeze in Enfield. Clann’s goal coming through Josh Lennon on 18 minutes.
Boyle were rampant in the second-half as they landed 1-8. Donie and Enda Smith, Cian McKeon, Cathal Feeley and Tadgh McKenna scored 1-8 without reply by the 48th minute.
Boyles goal coming from Enda Smith on 44 minutes as Boyle led by seven points heading into injury time.
Ciarán Lennon converted a late penalty for Clann na nGael but it made no difference as Boyle advanced by four points.
Last year’s runner-up will now face Padraig Pearses in Dr. Hyde Park at 3pm on Saturday October seventh in the Roscommon SFC semi-final.
