Boyle reached the Roscommon senior football semi-finals thanks to a 1-11 to 0-9 win over Michael Glaveys at Dr. Hyde Park.
Cian McKeon registered 1-4 as Boyle led 1-6 to 0-4 at half-time and they held on to lead by the same margin at the final whistle.
Boyle opened up a three-point lead on 11 minutes when Cian McKeon found the net and 12 minutes later Cian Smith’s men moved five points clear.
Dylan Ruane and McKeon traded a point each during the remainder of the half as Boyle held a five-point buffer at the break.
Michael Glaveys started the second half impressively and points from James Brennan, Andy Glennon and James McDonagh made it a two-point game seven minutes after the restart.
Dylan Ruane and Andy Glennon subsequently traded a point each before Boyle were awarded a penalty on 47 minutes from which Glennon only managed a point.
Michael Glaveys failed to score thereafter as two points from McKeon and one from Donie Smith sealed victory for Boyle.
Boyle can now look forward to a semi-final meeting with St. Brigid’s who were 2-12 to 1-12 winners over Clann na nGael.
