Lynch Cup Quarter-final

Inter Club Results
Last Wednesday evening (4/8) the Jack O’Sullivan team captained by Liam Bruen were beaten by Boyle in the second round. At home Nathan and Kyle Flynn lost on the 15th Keith Duignan and Darren Conlon were level playing the 18th.
Dylan Berne and Sean Mulvey were one up playing 17th. Away Padraig McSheara and Steven Sheeran lost on the 14th and Gordon Kavanagh and Kevin McDermott lost on the 18th.
We wish Boyle the best of luck in the next round.
Jimmy Bruen Team Win Connacht Final.
Congratulations to Captain Fiachra Neary and the Jimmy Bruen team on winning the Connacht final against Ballinrobe. Despite very poor weather conditions both teams played excellent Golf.
With three matches away the challenge was always going to be tough for the Carrick team. Away Danny Egan and Niall Loftus won on the 16th.
David McDermott and Gordon Kavanagh won on the 16th. And Jason Loftus and Paul Roach halved their match.
At home Keith Duignan and Sean Mulvey won on the 15th. Paul O’Brien and Nathan Flynn were 2up playing the 15th when there match was called in.
Best of luck to the team in the all-Ireland finals. A huge thanks to the course staff and volunteers who had the course in such good condition despite the bad weather.
