Mullinalaghta continued their winning ways in the Peter Hanley Motors Longford SFC with a 2-17 to 3-5 victory over Rathcline.
The win combined with other results means Mullinalaghta win Group B with one round of games remaining.
Also in group B, Abbeylara played out a 1-18 to 4-9 draw with Granard. The share of the spoils see both sides remain second and third respectively.
While Dromard recorded their first win of the campaign 3-9 to 2-6 over Clonguish. It moves Dromard to fifth place in the table with one round of games remaining.
In group A, Colmcille moved to the top of the table as they edged Longford Slashers 1-11 to 1-10.
It means Colmcille have six points, one ahead of Killoe and Mostrim who play on Saturday.
Longford Slashers will need a victory in their final group game to have any chance of making the quarter-finals and will be keen watchers of tomorrow’s meeting of Fr Manning Gaels and Carrickedmond.
