Roscommon will face Cork this Saturday at 2pm in the All-Ireland preliminary quarter-final.
The CCCC has announced the details of this weekend’s fixtures with Páirc Uí Chaoimh, hosting the first preliminary quarter-final. Roscommon lost out to Kildare in their final group game. The result saw Roscommon pitted with an away preliminary quarter-final.
Meanwhile, O’Connor Park has been selected by Kildare for their game with Monaghan which throws-in at 4:45pm. This is a double header with Monaghan minors All-Ireland semi-final with Kerry. That game throws-in at 2:30pm.
Donegal and Tyrone meet in Ballybofey at 7pm. Donegal’s reward for beating Monaghan in the final group stage.
While All-Ireland favourites Galway will face Mayo at 3pm on Sunday in Pearse Stadium. The CCCC had wanted to play all the preliminary quarter-finals on Saturday, thus giving the Tailteann cup semi-finals a free run.
However Galway hurlers are in All-Ireland quarter-final action with Tipperary. This game will be at 6:15pm on Saturday in the Gaelic Grounds.
The other hurling quarter-final between Clare and Dublin takes place at the same venue at 4pm.
On Sunday both Tailteann Cup semi-finals take place in Croke Park. Meath meet Antrim at 2pm followed by Down and Laois at 4pm.
The second all-Ireland minor semi-final between Dublin and Derry takes place in the Athletic Grounds on Sunday at 5:30pm.
