The club scene wraps-up this Sunday with the All-Ireland senior football and hurling finals, a double header in Croke Park.
O’Loughlin Gaels and St. Thomas will contest the hurling final at 1:30 and that will be followed by the meeting of Glen Watty Grahams and St. Brigids at 3:30.
The Roscommon and Connacht champions are contesting a first final since 2013.
Brigids Manager Jerome Stack remarked that their recent semi-final win over Castlehaven was taken in the context of just been another step in their championship journey.
For Glen is a second All-Ireland decider in a row having lost out in controversial circumstances last year to Killmcud Crokes, the side they beat in this year’s last four outing.
Forward Emmet Bradley noted it has been a long journey back to Croke Park.
