C.P Ajax were comfortable 3-1 winners over a Shiven Rovers side who won the Cup two seasons ago.

Ajax were in front early, after a corner-kick was deflected into his own net by a Shiven defender.

Daniel Connolly made it 2-0 before half-time and added his second in the second-half. Keith Doyle pulled one back for the Newbridge side but with Ryan Larkin and David Coyne in top form Shiven never looked like making it to the final.
