The event became one of the first to be played out in front of a capacity-crowd in the UK since the start of the pandemic. Mark Selby prevailed in the decider overcoming Shaun Murphy by 18 frames to 15. It was a 4th title in 8 years for Selby and he noted playing in front of a crowd again made it a special feeling to be involved
