Roscommon county board have nominated Davy Burke as their new senior football manager.
Burke takes over from Anthony Cunningham who had the role since 2018 and has been appointed for a three-year period.
He previously guided his native county to an All-Ireland Under-20 title in 2018 and also managed the Wicklow senior footballers
Donegal's former All-Ireland winner player and All-Star, Mark McHugh is the side's new coach.
The remainder of Burke's backroom team is expected to be finalised during the next few days.
Roscommon GAA County Chairperson, Brian Carroll said; “Roscommon GAA are absolutely delighted with the appointment.
"Davy Burke is a young enthusiastic manager who has gained much experience in his managerial career through club, college and county.”
