Tipperary native Diarmuid Cahill is the new Longford Senior Hurling manager.
Cahill was introduced to the Longford team at a training session today. Indeed, the new Longford manager is a Kilruane McDonaghs clubman.
Cahill has been part of the Kildare senior hurling management team. Whereas, Cahill has been Manager/coach of the Westmeath intermediate camogie squad in recent years.
Cahill was also part of the management team that led Ballinamere to this year's Offaly Senior Hurling final. Where they lost by two points to Kilcormac-Killoughey.
The Tipperary man replaces Adrian Moran who stepped down earlier this month.
