Down to the last 8 in the Roscommon senior championship

With the group stages completed in Roscommon senior championship the competition now takes a short break.

Whereas the quarter-finals are scheduled for September 24th while the relegation play-off is on the 16th.

The 2021 champions Padraig Pearses have qualified for the last eight and will face West Roscommon in the quarter-final in what is a new format for the championship this year.

For Pearses manager Frank Canning it is just another game with the prize of a semi final for the winner
