Dromard shocked last years Longford championship runner's-up Mostrim with a five point victory.
The sides were level at five points a piece at half-time. The game lit up in second-half drama.
Dromard found the net five minutes after the restart and Mostrim were at least three points behind until the final minute.
Darragh Doherty converted a penalty to make it a one point game. Dromard struck back with a goal from Ross McNerney four minutes into injury time.
It was Dromard's day winning out 2-9 to 1-7 and leave Mostrim awaiting a first win in this years championship.
