Mevlin Gaels bowed out of the Connacht intermediate football championship after a heavy defeat to Eastern Harps.
While Melvin Gaels where understrength, the Leitirm champions failed to register a first-half score. Eastern Harps having led 1-5 to no score at half-time.
The clock would read 41 minutes before Philip McGowan registered gaels first point of the game. Shane McGloin found the Eastern Harps net five minutes from time. However the game was well over at that stage.
Eastern Harps progressing to the semi-final with a 1-12 to 1-3 victory and a meeting with Roscommon champions Elphin on Saturday November 16.
