The 2023/24 season is set to begin after the FAI U17, youth, junior and intermediate cups, draws were made.
All four competitions are set to begin in September with the competitions divided into regional sections starting with preliminary rounds.
Roscommon and district league sides will start in round one and are paired with teams from the Mayo FL and Sligo/Leitrim DSL.
CP Ajax travel to Valley Rovers of Sligo, while Ballaghaderren host Ballyheane of Mayo. Castlerea Celtic will travel to Westport United and Moore united host St John’s AFC. Round one takes place weekending September 24.
In round two, Ballinasloe Town face the winners of Ballaghaderren and Ballyheane. The winner of Moore United and St John’s will travel to Cloonfad United.
While CP Ajax can advance past Valley Rovers they will face Ballyhaunis Town or Stand Celtic. Carbury will face the winners of Castlebar Town or MCR.
Whereas, if Castlerea Celtic elimanate Westport United they will face a trip to Ballisodare United or Ballinrobe Town. The second round is scheduled for the weekend of October fifth.
Meanwhile, Combined Counties league teams have been grouped with the Kildare district league. Monksland have drawn Temple Villa. Ballinahown will face Clara Town.
While, Moate Celtic host Clane, St Peter’s Athlone host Castle Villa. Whereas, Mullingar Town will travel to Clonaslee United and Mullingar Celtic travel to Newbridge United.
Willow Park and Mullingar Athletic received byes to round two.
FAI Youth and Under-17 Cup draws made
In the FAI Youth Cup, Ballinasloe Town will travel to Colga in the first round. Meanwhile Mullingar Athletic will host Monasterevin.
Meanwhile in the FAI U17 cup, Longford side Newtown will meet Mullingar Athletic in the preliminary round. The winner will face Tullamore Town or Portlaoise round one. Whereas, Ballyboro of Lanseborough will face Killoe Celtic.
