Fenagh St Caillin's qualified for the Leitrim senior football semi-finals following a convincing victory over Leitrim Gaels.
The results was never in doubt. Fenagh led 1-12 to 1-1 at half-time before winning 1-22 to 2-3 in the end.
Eoin McLoughlin found the net on 22 minutes as Fenagh led 1-6 to 0-1. Riordan O’Rourke subsequently made it a 14-point game heading into injury time.
David Regan registered a penalty goal for Gaels on the stroke of half-time but Paul Prior’s men were still 11 points behind.
Eunan Treacy pushed Fenagh 17 points clear five minutes from time. Regan added his second goal three minutes later as Gaels reduced the gap to 14 points.
Fenagh followed up with two more points thereafter as Joe McCormack’s side held on for a comfotable victory.
Meanwhile, the game between Ballinamore Sean O'Heslin's and Glencar Manor hamilton was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
That game will now take place on Sunday September 17th at 2pm in Avantmoney Pairc Sean MacDiarmada.
