Longford Town’s sorry premier division came to an end after 5-0 defeat to Finn Harps in Finn park.
Town managed to win just two games in the 36 match series premier division and their 25th defeat of the season was on the cards after 30 minutes.
Will Seymore found the town net on the half-hour mark with Ryan Connolly giving Finn Harps a 2-0 lead in front of a packed Finn park.
Six minutes after the restart Karl O’Sullivan made it three-nil. Tunde Owolabi found the net for Harps fourth on 61 minutes.
Luke Rudden made it five-nil in the 90th minute, the final strike in a forgettable season for Longford.
The defeat see’s town finish bottom of the premier division with 15 points and a goal difference of minus 48.
