First division opposition for Longford in FAI cup

Following their opening round win in the FAI cup, Longford Town have been drawn against U.C.D in round 2. Daire Doyles side were comfortable 5 nil winners over Bangor GGFC last weekend and will be looking to continue their run in the competition that has served them well in previous years.  The tie of the round will be the meeting of Bohemians and Shamrock Rovers, while defending champions Dundalk will take on St Mochtas

Those 2nd round fixtures are due to take place on the week ending the 27th/28th of August.
