Former Monaghan, Fermanagh and Meath Senior Ladies intercounty manager Paula Cunningham has remarked that their was eyebrows raised when she first took up the role with a county team with it been asked why she was taking a mans job.
With international Womens day been celebrated on Monday past, Sports Ireland have dedicated this week to promoting the role of women in sport, Paula one of very few women to have donned the Banaisteor bibs at the highest level.
Having taken up her first role with the Ernesiders in 2007, Paula noted that their was some surprise at her taking the job
