Longford Town have confirmed that Adam Verdon, Aodh Dervin and Stephen Meaney have left the club.
The transfer window opened on Saturday July first with players allowed to sign for clubs. Dervin has returned to his parent club Shelbourne at the end of a loan period.
Longford also confirmed the departure of Cian Byrne to his parent club Bohemians, his loan having also ended.

In a post on social media, Longford Town said; “We can confirm that the following players have departed the club. Adam Verdon, Aodh Dervin and Stephen Meaney. “We would like to thank the lads for their efforts in the Red and Black and wish them all the best for the future”
The Town recorded their first win in five games on Saturday night beating Wexford 2-1. Longford are third from bottom in the first divison.
