Four Roads were crowned Roscommon senior hurling champions following a 0-26 to 2-12 over Athleague.
Four Roads led 0-18 to 1-5 at half-time, holding on for an eight-point victory in the end.
Playing on Athleague’s home ground, Four Roads made a blistering start. Shane Curley's side led 0-8 to no score inside 11 minutes.
Cathal Dolan, Padraig Kelly and Jack Donnelly registered two points each, Darren Fallon and John Moran were also on target.
Athleague's problems were compounded three minutes later, when Darragh Heavey was sent-off.
Ben McGahon eventually opened Athleague's account on 15 minutes. Five minutes later Robbie Fallon added a goal making it a seven-point game.
However, Four Roads were relentless. Eamon Mulry restored their ten-point cushion on the stroke of half-time.
Cathal Dolan pushed Four Roads 12 points clear on 43 minutes. Three minutes later, Fallon added his second goal, suddenly it was back to a nine-point game.
McGahon reduced the margin to seven points 11 minutes from time. Two minutes later Padraig Kelly restored Four Roads' eight-point cushion.
The sides cancelled each other out thereafter. Four Roads captured the county senior title after recording a convincing 10 point victory.
