Leitrim rounded out their Connacht minor championship campaign with a 10 point defeat to Galway.
Galway scored a 2-17 to 1-10 win in Ballinamore to setup a semi-final meeting with Roscommon on May 17.
Just five points separated the sides at half-time as Galway led 1-9 to 1-4.Galway went 1-4 to one point ahead with just 15 minutes on the clock.
However, Jack Kelly 21st minute goal brought the hosts straight back into the game. Kelly finished the half with 1-3, Daire McCabe with Leitrim’s other score as they trailed by five at half-time.
Galway scored 1-2 by the time Jack Kelly had Leitrim’s opening score of the second-half.
Points from Senan Bohan, Daire McCabe and three from Kelly rounded out Leitrim’s scoring as they lost out by 10 points. Galway winning out 2-13 to 1-10.
