Roscommon are on top of division two following a 3-10 to 15 points win over Armagh at the Athletic Grounds in Armagh in the Allianz Football League.
The away side trailed by eight points to 1-3 at the interval as a dominant second half display saw them emerge victorious.
The game was slow to get going with just three points on the board after 19 minutes as the Orchard County led by a single score.
Armagh then got going and eight minutes later they led by four points before Roscommon reduced the margin to a pair of scores thanks to frees scored by Cian McKeon and Conor Cox.
Two minutes later the Rossies got their noses in front when Enda Smith found the net from the penalty spot
Armagh then registered three unanswered points and held a two-point buffer at the break.
Ten minutes into the second half Roscommon went into the driving seat scoring two goals in as many minutes.
Enda Smith added his second penalty goal before a great move finished by Conor Daly gave Roscommon a two point lead.
McKeon and Cox then added a point each before Rian O’Neill pulled one back for the hosts who trailed by three points at the second water break.
Another pointed free from Rian O’Neill left a goal between them heading into additional time.
A pair of scores from Conor Cox sealed victory for Roscommon who now have a great chance of securing promotion to division one.
