St. Mary's Granard and Clonguish played out a 1-12 to 2-9 draw at Michael Fay Park in today's Longford senior football championship group B clash.
Clonguish made the brighter start leading 1-2 to 0-1 at the first water break with Joe O’Brien scoring the game’s first goal from a penalty on 14 minutes.
On 18 minutes, Darren Gallagher did likewise for Granard before his side led 1-4 to 1-3 at half-time after grabbing three of the next four points.
Granard held a two-point cushion at the second water break before Clonguish led by the same margin with five minutes remaining when Jack Duggan found the net.
Granard subsequently levelled the game by landing three of the last four points with Darren Gallagher landing the equalising score from a free deep into injury time. In the same group Mullinalaghta hammered Dromard 2-17 to 2-6.
