Niamh Fahey and Jamie Finn are back in Ireland squad for October’s Women’s World Cup play-off.
Fahey and Finn had missed the recent win over Slovakia. Kyra Carusa, Niamh Farrelly, Roma McLaughlin and Isibeal Atkinson are also included in the 28 strong squad.
Injuries rule out Savannah McCarthy, Megan Connolly, Ruesha Littlejohn, Ellen Molloy, Aoife Colvill and Leanne Kiernan.
Ireland will be away to either Scotland or Austria, who play each other on Thursday, October sixth. As Ireland bid to qualify for the World Cup for the first time.
Players will report into camp on Tuesday, October fourth. They will be given an extra day to recover from their respective club games. Preparations will begin at the FAI National Training Centre.
The squad will depart Dublin on Sunday, October ninth with the destination set for either Glasgow or Vienna.
