Longford Town are on the search for a new goalkeeper after Jack Brady transferred to Galway United.
Brady swaps Longford who are bottom of the League of Ireland for Galway United who are seventh in the premier division.
The Clare man was in his second spell with Longford Town; having returned to the club in 2023 after a spell in 2015. Indeed, Brady has been one of town's stronger performers in 2024.
"To be given the opportunity to work in a full-time capacity and really work on myself and to make myself an even better player is all I ever wanted to do in my career,” Brady told the Galway United website.
“I’m 27 now, and to get the opportunity to come into a full-time setup is a privilege.”
Indeed, Brady's final game for the Town was Friday's 4-1 derby game defeat to Athlone Town.
Whereas, Brady's signing is the second in two days for Galway, who signed former Ireland international Greg Cunningham yesterday.
