James Ryan has signed a two-year contract extension with the IRFU until the end of the 2025 season.
Ryan’s a key figure in the Irish squad; he played every minute of Ireland’s Grand Slam campaign and scored two tries.
He’s amassed 53 international caps to date and has captained his country on no fewer than seven occasions.
The second-row forward is also an important part of Leinster’s side. He’s made 71 appearances for Leo Cullen’s men and scored four tries.
Ryan has tasted serial success with his province including four league titles and a Heineken Champions Cup crown in 2018.
