Kenagh were crowned Longford intermediate football champions following a 2-9 to 0-13 victory over Sean Connolly’s at Glennon Brothers Pearse Park.
The sides were level 14 minutes from time before two unanswered points saw Kenagh secure the Hennessy Cup.
Sean Connolly’s led 0-9 to 1-3 at half-time before a superior second-half display saw Kenagh claim the Hennessy Cup.
Sean Connolly’s started impressively and led 0-4 to 0-2 on 11 minutes. Daniel Reynolds chipped in with three points for the Ballinalee men, Ronan McGrail also on target.

Kenagh began the second half with urgency. Cormac McGann added a second goal three minutes after the restart and suddenly, the sides were level.
Four successive points from Keelan McGann gave Kenagh a one-point lead on 55 minutes. 60 seconds later, Daniel Reynolds restored parity.
Kenagh dominated the scoring thereafter. Points from Darren Carberry and Cormac McGann proved decisive in the end.
