Kildare advanced to the Christy Ring Cup final following a 3-24 to 1-9 victory over Roscommon at Saint Conleths Park in Newbridge today.
The Lilywhites held a nine point cushion at the break leading 1-11 to five points and kicked on from there to record a convincing victory.
The first quarter was evenly contested with the sides deadlocked at four points apiece at the first water break
The Rossies then went 28 minutes without scoring either side of half time while Kildare amassed 3-10 during that period.
Jack Sheridan scored two goals for the hosts while James Burke also found the net.
John Coyne scored a late consolation goal for Roscommon.
Kildare now face Down in the final after the Mournemen needed penalties to get over Offaly in the other semi final.
